按照中国外交部相关部署，2010年牵头建立起了符合国际互通标准的中国电子护照发行体系。

In accordance with the relevant arrangements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, a Chinese electronic passport issuance system that meets international interoperability standards was established in 2010.

在发行中国“国家名片”（护照）和助力“守国门”（边检查验）方面起到了核心的支撑作用。

It plays a pivotal supporting role in issuing China's "national identity card" (passport) and assisting in "guarding the country's door" (border inspection).

In 2013, a team was formed together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China to present technical proposals internationally, successfully prompting countries to adjust their border inspection systems. This allowed Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao to share a single "CN" country code while still being able to identify each other correctly and independently, ensuring the international travel of Chinese residents in the three regions
